Gardner Covert Link Lok Swivels

The Covert Link Lok Swivel uses a self-locking twisted loop — rather than a simple crook — to retain looped hooklinks. This design provides a significantly stronger hooklink attachment than many conventional quick-change swivels while eliminating the need for any anti-tangle sleeve to keep the hooklink in position.

The absence of a sleeve also means that at the lead end, the hooklink retains a free pivot — beneficial for stiff or short hooklinks, which can work more effectively when they have some controlled movement. The size 8 eye fits the Covert Lead Clip system for correct safe lead discharge.
