The ‘Red Sea Squid’ is a complex blend of sea, dairy, liver, yeast and plant-based products, all rolled into our most comprehensive bait to date. High levels of all thing’s squid are used along with fish and other sea derived meals, milk proteins, liver products,
yeasts and specially selected spices.

With our boilies, we want water to penetrate the bait quickly. That helps the soluble attractors, amino acids and food signals begin leaking out into the surrounding water sooner, while also producing a bait that carp can break down and digest efficiently.

We could make our boilies rock hard, but why would we? The bait you’re feeding is there to be eaten. We want it to behave like food, not like a marble.

A hookbait has a completely different job to do, which is why we produce dedicated hard hookbaits. They’re designed to remain intact for long periods, withstand nuisance fish and crayfish, and give you confidence that there’s still a bait on the hair when it matters.

So there’s a very deliberate difference:

Our boilies are softer because we want carp to eat and digest them and we want them leaking food signals.

Our hookbaits are harder because we want them to stay on the rig.
