Rod Hutchinson was one of the innovators of Covert bivvy said model in a wheelchair, when it introduced the first Bivvy Cabrio back in 1990, the model still used with great satisfaction by the lucky owners. Now the Convertible is back benefiting from this great and historical experience and the great strides made by materials technology in over twenty years. This new Bivvy is equipped with all the features that are now indispensable to a modern angler and you would expect to find in a luxury equipment. Offering a generous amplitude, it provides ample space to accommodate a bedchairs also large and all the rest of equipment useful in a drawn long lasting. The Cabrio is designed for demanding anglers and for important sessions, remaining calm can stay dry, whatever the weather conditions. The Cabrio ‘Capsule’ is a clip-in inner dome that can be purchased separately and fitted into either of our Cabrio One or Two Man bivvies. Attached in seconds to create a bug free environment, this is an essential addition for those amongst us who really don’t like sharing our bivvy with all those bankside critters! Featuring a one piece sewn in heavy duty PVC groundsheet with mosquito mesh side panels that correspond with the Cabrio window positions allowing you to benefit from the increased air-flow once the blinds have been raised, the roof is constructed from polyester to create an inner skin that will help retain the warmth during the winter yet keep the bivvy cooler during the summer months.

Supplied in its own protective case with an additional pair of clip-in pegging straps, which allow you to use the Capsule with the front panel of the Cabrio fully removed.

The capsule is not a self standing shelter. These are inserts to be attached to the inside of the Cabrio Bivvies.
