Solar Tackle heritage in Rod Pods is well known, and we believe we have made the ultimate in versatility, function and looks with the new Universal pod. This item takes the key features from all previous Solar pods (such as the Worldwide, Globetrotter etc) and pushes the boundaries further. Precision engineered and manufactured in the UK, it’s feature packed and can be suited to any angling style. Not only is each individual leg height and angle adjustable, but the leg mountings can be positioned anywhere along the twin main bars as well.

- Dual extendable main bars for stability. Main bar extends from 95cm to 1.6m
- Solar’s unique ratchet system leg adjustment for individual leg adjustment
- Each leg-adjustment bridge in movable and can be fixed at any point along the main bars
- Loc-down anchor points on the front and back bridge sections
- Drop-down uprights, allowing the pod to pack down flat. 14cm high back uprights and 11cm high front uprights
- 16-inch and 24-inch adjustable legs with captive thumb screws and new Ground-Probe points. The Euro legs are made from thicker-diameter stainless for more strength and stability on the bigger frame, when compared to the Universal Pod

Great quality and rock-solid stability

I’ve been using the Solar P1 Euro Universal Pod for carp fishing, and I’m very impressed with it.

The build quality is excellent. Everything feels solid and well made, and the pod is very stable even when set up on uneven, rocky ground. I’m fishing with three carp rods, and the pod handles the setup without any problem.

I especially like the adjustability. It gives me plenty of options to position the rods exactly how I want them, which is important when fishing different swims and distances.

The finish is also excellent, and the pod looks and feels like a serious piece of fishing equipment rather than a lightweight budget setup.

I’ve used it on the rocky shoreline at Big Bear Lake, and it has performed exactly as I expected. Stable, versatile, and very well built.

Definitely a quality pod that I would recommend to serious carp anglers.
